Well here it is, the final episode of the Chill with The Chola podcast. After 3 years of podcasting, I have decided that it is time to bring this project to an end and focus on other projects. I have enjoyed producing the podcast, but, I have to admit that my heart has not been fully in to producing the monthly show for some time now.

I continue to enjoy downtempo music and I intend to release mixes from time to time, just not on Podomatic.com, not on a monthly basis, and not under the “Chill with The Chola” name. An ARCHIVE of the entire Chill with The Chola podcast has been brought online over at Definitive Downtempo so that you may access old episodes. Any future releases that I make will also be available on that site under the “Definitive Downtempo” title and category.

I would like to thank all of the loyal listeners of the Chill with The Chola podcast for making this project so much fun. If you would like to stay in touch, head on over to http://www.definitivedowntempo.com and subscibe to the RSS feed.

So Long and Thanks for All the Fish!

I have been listening to your podcasts regularly since I first discovered them with “The Best of 2008″ on itunes. I have loved them all. You have been providing me with great atmosphere and inspiration for almost every occasion. Your podcasts have become my favorites and the most played of all of my music library since my first listen. I am so grateful that you have introduced me to so much wonderful music and new artists. Your musical taste has certainly influenced me in a great way.

While I am sad by your decision to continue on a regular basis, I can certainly understand how time consuming it can be to give of yourself in the generous way that you have. I am so happy that I can access your archives! Your podcasts will stay in my library forever.

Thank you for your contribution to the music world. You help to keep this music alive by sharing and introducing these beautiful songs to us!

Good luck with your future endeavors (including getting back to making your own music)!

    Rose

I found your podcasts shortly after you started making them through a random search for ambient music to listen to while I was writing up my PhD research. They’ve definitely helped me finish! Thanks for all you’ve done and I hope to hear some new projects soon.
